Famagusta agony for the enclosed city (VIDEO)

How the Turkish Cypriots of Famagusta comment on the movement of the pseudo-state

There is intense concern and concern in the refugee world of Famagusta about the new challenges of the pseudo-state regarding the opening of the besieged city of Famagusta under Turkish Cypriot administration.

The statements of the so-called foreign minister Kudret Ozersay about the entry of a group of experts inside Varosia to register the assets and the false prime minister about the transformation of Famagusta into Las Vegas justifiably caused fear in Famagusta.

For its part, the Holy Diocese of Constantia-Famagusta expresses its anxiety about what will be born with the important ecclesiastical monuments within the enclosed area.

At the same time, groups of Turkish Cypriot activists from Famagusta are opposing the pseudo-government, demanding the return of Famagusta to its legal inhabitants under UN administration.

Serdar Atai, a member of the Bi-Community Initiative for Famagusta, speaking to Sigma, also supported the participation of Greek Cypriots in the registration team.

In a statement issued today, UNFICYP spokesman Alim Sindik said succinctly that the United Nations was monitoring developments in Varosia.
