A charity football match was organized last Monday at its stadium by the Athletic Club of Avgorou.
The match was attended by footballers from all over the province of Famagusta with the aim of raising money to be donated as a contribution to their fellow villager Andreas who needs them for major surgery to be performed in Israel.
Little Andreas and the Secretary of the Council of Ministers, Theodosis Tsiolas, were present at the match.
