The fire service and the police mobilized at 2 in the morning, after information that a fire broke out in an agricultural tractor in the community of Avgorou.
According to the police, the tractor, worth 35.000 euros, was towing a "Beater" type machine (which makes hay balls). Both machines were owned by a 58-year-old man from Xylotympou.
The machines were parked in the agricultural area of Lake Avgorou.
The two vehicles were completely destroyed by the fire.
The fire brigade responded to the fire with a vehicle.
The scene remains closed and investigations will be carried out into the causes of the fire with the first light of day.
