The Community of Avgoros is making an urgent appeal for little Sophocles, who is going to undergo surgery that is important for his life, with the community asking for financial support for his family through various events, since the cost of the operation amounts to more than 20 thousand euros.
In fact, in an announcement, the "Evagoras Avgorou" Association announces that on February 7, skewers will be baked for the family's financial support.
The announcement states that the only three-month-old Sophocles Sophocles, born on 2/10/2018, was diagnosed with a type of cranial constriction, specifically with a scaphoid. The scaphoid is due to the premature closure of the sagittal suture (elongated suture at the top of the head) causing a large longitudinal and small wide skull.
Little Sophocles must undergo immediate surgery, for which, however, a sum of money must be found.
For this purpose, the Association of Evagoras Avgoros next Thursday, February 7, will bake skewers with the aim of supporting little Sophocles and needy families in the community of Avgoros.
