The area around Landa beach is cleaner as of today after the end of the Pancyprian campaign "Let's do it Cyprus 2021 #stoxerisou" in which the Municipality of Ayia Napa participated.
More than seventy bags of garbage were collected on Saturday, October 30, 2021 during the cleaning campaign organized by the Municipality of Ayia Napa, as part of its participation in the Pancyprian campaign "Let's do it Cyprus 2021 #stoxerisou", the ninety volunteers organized.
The campaign started from the parking lot of Landa beach, where one group of volunteers cleaned the area from the gathering point to the picnic area of Agios Nikandros and the second group from the same point to the area bordering Makronisos beach.
Volunteers from the "Modestos Pantelis" and "Fanos" Camp, from the EDON Ayia Napa Campus, the "Antonis Tsokkos" Parents' Associations - "Antonis Tsokkos" and the Ayia Napa Kindergarten and from the Discovering Famag took part in today's cleaning campaign.
After the end of the campaign, the Municipal Councilor and Chairman of the Municipal Committee for Welfare, Public Health and Cleanliness, Mrs. Tasoula Tsokki, thanked on behalf of the Mayor Mr. Christos Zannettos and the Members of the Municipal Council all those who responded to her call. area around Landa beach.
