A fire at a property in Ayia Napa caused extensive damage to a nearby store.
According to the Police, around 01.30 today in the early hours of the morning, information was received at ADE Famagusta about a fire in a property located on Nissi Avenue in Ayia Napa.
Members of the Fire Brigade rushed to the scene and managed to extinguish the fire, however, the nearby store suffered extensive damage from the smoke.
Members of the Famagusta Police Department and the Famagusta Police Department went to the scene, which was blocked and with the first light of day, investigations will begin by the Police, the Fire Brigade and the Electromechanical Service to determine the causes of the fire.
The damage to the premises where the fire broke out as well as to the adjacent store have not yet been calculated.
Both stores are covered by insurance.
