Ayia Napa with its strong BRAND NAME, its rich Cultural and Artistic Activity continues restless and energetic with a vision its course to make our Cyprus one of the most popular destinations in the Mediterranean.
A variety of events and activities were organized by the Municipality of Ayia Napa in the months of September, October and November, with the result that there is intense mobility and the number of visitors from locals and foreign visitors "beats red".
Single out, the two major annual Festivals of the Municipality,
- the International Festival (23-27 / 09) and the Medieval Festival (09-16 / 10),
- the Car Festival (27-31 / 10),
- the opening and closing ceremonies of the European Championship Games "Kappadi" (29/10 & 02/11),
- the Triathlon Games (31/10),
- the launch of the "Cycling of Love" of the Cyprus Police and the British Bases (30/10),
- the cleaning campaign of the Municipality in the area "Landa" in the context of the Pancyprian Cleaning Campaign Let's Do it Cyprus 2021 # stoxerisou (30/10).
Important events took place in November as well:
- the inauguration of the sculpture "Family - The Guarantee for Peace" in collaboration with the Russian Embassy and the Russian Cultural Center of Cyprus (04/11)
- the 5th International Symposium of George Seferis in which participated dozens of academics and scholars of the work of the Nobel Prize Poet from Cyprus and abroad (5-7 / 11).
- An important event is the recent award of the Municipality with the Green City of Cyprus award for the project "Design and creation of new green spaces in the Municipality of Ayia Napa / Maintenance and landscaping of existing green spaces of the Municipality of Ayia Napa" in the category "Green areas - North" for the year 2020 the Municipality of Ayia Napa during the official award ceremony of the Pancyprian Environmental Awards 2020, which took place on Friday, October 29 at the Municipal Theater of Latsia.
- At the same time, important hosts have been hosted, such as the fifty Russian travel agents and mayors from various cities in Greece - Kastoria, Chios, Vergina, and Riga Fereou (30/10) as well as
- activities of other bodies / organizations supported by the Municipality of Ayia Napa such as the event in support of the Autism project, which took place at the Sun Garden Beach Hotel, in the presence of the Minister of Transport and the Mayor of Ayia Napa where Antonia Kypai said goodbye to her 30 year ponytail to financially support the Famagusta Autism Support Association and
- The event was honored by the Mayor Mr. Christos Zannettos and the Municipality of Ayia Napa by the Association "Aroma" of Ayia Napa Friends of the Sculpture Park which took place at the Adams Beach Hotel.
The successful celebrations for the 200 years of National Polygenesis in June have now been established as an institution to remind us of our history and to keep alive our memory of the ideals and the debt to our homeland but also to teach our children the struggles of of our ancestors.
The Winter Ayia Napa will be flooded with the Christmas Light on December 4 and at 4:00 pm where the whole event will start with a Charity Christmas Marathon and at 5:00 pm with a festive event the Christmas Tree will be lit.
