Lifeguards were mobilized yesterday morning in the Nissi Beach area of Ayia Napa, when a man lost consciousness in the water.
Specifically, he is an elderly foreigner, who lost consciousness while trying to get out of the water. Immediately, the lifeguards intervened and removed him from the water and provided him with the appropriate first aid.
It should be mentioned that the man returned thanks to the immediate intervention of the lifeguards of Nissi Beach beach who provided him with first aid, a fact that proves the important work they perform.
The elderly man was immediately transported by ambulance to the intensive care unit of the Famagusta General Hospital, where he was kept for treatment.
