The Municipality of Ayia Napa organizes for another year, in collaboration with the Cyprus Tourism Organization, its winter events with the general title "Cultural Winter 2017-2018", with the aim of promoting through artistic creations and producers to locals and especially foreigners visitors, who stay in the city in the winter the Cypriot Culture and the traditions of our place and contribute to the upgrading of the tourist product of the region.
The "Cultural Winter 2017-2018" will begin on November 9, 2017 and will last until early April 2018, including the Christmas events. It is noted that the lighting of the lights on December 3 will be marked by the conduct of an International Marathon.
Remarkable local music and dance groups will take part, which will present all kinds of music such as classical, concert, jazz, artful Greek music as well as dance extensions with various themes, such as ballet, contemporary dance, Cypriot, Greek traditional dances, etc.
The cosmopolitan and much-loved Ayia Napa, a small paradise on earth for many, still holds Tradition with a smile and love. Culture for the Municipality is an optimistic perception of life that highlights the most beautiful elements of the Cypriot Identity.
The Municipality of Ayia Napa expresses its certainty that through the preparation of its winter program both the citizens and the foreign visitors of Ayia Napa will be satisfied with the quality of the events.
The events will be held every Thursday, in the closed event hall of the Municipality, at 8.00 pm and the entrance will be free for the public.
