With the delivery of the last works by the two remaining artists, the 28nd Phase of the 5th Sculpture Symposium of the Municipality of Ayia Napa was completed last Saturday, April XNUMX.
The result is exceptional and dazzling, since the fourteen artists who participated created twenty-two masterpieces, which in the coming days will be placed in the Sculpture Park.

• Nikolai Karlykhanov Russia - "Artemis"
• Olga Sagakon - Russia - "Solo at the Sea" and Elephant

• Serhii Sbitniev Ukraine - "Abduction of Europe" and "Wisdom"
• Nazih Rashid - Egypt - "The woman vision between reality and fantasy" and "Whale".
The Mayor Mr. Giannis Karousos expressed his satisfaction that another Symposium came to an end leaving in its passage twenty-two works of great artistic value. "The organization" added "the five Symposia is for our Municipality and for the wider area of the Province of Famagusta a great artistic event, the result of which is the creation of the only Outdoor Sculpture Museum, a work that characteristically mentioned, eternal, a hearth culture with global recognition and scope, which is enjoyed by both our citizens and our visitors ".
He also stressed that excellent work has been done so far both by the Organizing Committee of the Symposium and especially by the President Mrs. Kiki Konstantinou, the Cultural Officer of the Municipality Mrs. Maria Tofini Tsantila and the artists who participated in the five Symposia, while expressing to all his heartfelt thanks as well as to the Members of the Municipal Council.
It is noted that the First Phase of the 6th Sculpture Symposium will take place from October 30 to November 30, 2018.
