"The Complaint of Poseidon", the impressive show of Roberto Braham, Marina Katsari and Vangelis Gettou, with large dolls and live music travels to Ayia Napa (Sea Museum, 18/6 at 19.30).
People destroy the Poseidonia haystacks on a Mediterranean beach because they think that the "algae" are polluting it. This angers the god of the sea, Poseidon. The god of Olympus makes his appearance in an unexpected way and tries to convince mortals of the importance of preserving the Mediterranean coastal ecosystems and the life of the seabed. Roberto Braham and Marina Katsari, the puppet duo of the play "The King's Pawns", join forces with the stage musician Vangelis Getto and present a crazy story about the protection of Poseidonia, the beaches and the sea , full of funny encounters and upheavals.
The play is based on the fairy tale of the same name by Vangelis Gettos published by the Enalia Physis Environmental Research Center and funded by the POSBEMED2 program - "Governance and management of Poseidonia and sand dunes systems in the Mediterranean" (INTERREG MED 2014-2020)
The performance will take place on Saturday, June 18 in Ayia Napa at 19.30 at the Museum "Thalassa".
