The lighting of the Christmas Decoration will take place on Saturday, December 7, 2019 in the Central Square, at 5.00 pm, by the Deputy Mayor Mr. Christos Zannetou, who will welcome the event.
The lighting will be followed by a rich festive program, in which the BATUKINIO Percussion Band, the Ayia Napa Open School Classes, the Cheerleaders of the Choreographer Emilia Salouta, the THE SANTAS Band "Christmas is Love", the Dance Group and the "Ruth" Disney Christmas Mascots.
Guests will be offered rich gifts, traditional delicacies and plenty of wine.
On Sunday, December 8, 2019, the 8.00km Half Marathon will start at 21 pm from the Municipal Museum "Thalassa", and the 10 and 5 km races. Runners from Cyprus and abroad will close their racing year, running through the main roads of Ayia Napa to the Park of Cape Greco and back ending at the Municipal Museum "Sea".
