The murder of 33-year-old Gary Boris Christodoulou, which was committed on the night of November 1 on the Ayia Napa highway, seems to have been directly related to the quadruple murder, according to what was mentioned by the case investigator during the extrajudicial hearing. of the four suspects.
According to the investigator of the case, Christodoulou was a well-known person of the night and a friend of Panagiotis Pentavkas who was sentenced to life imprisonment for the quadruple murder and who "was a deadly enemy of Kalopsidiotis".
The first suspect was injured during the quadruple murder and after committing the crime, he assumed the duties of a guard to the nephew of the businessman Fanos Kalopsidiotis.
Linking the facts, the investigator said that the first suspect, 27 years old from Ayia Napa, on the morning of November 1 (the day the murder was committed), approached a limousine of the Pentaukas cabaret and threatened the driver that he would clean it.

Investigations that followed show that the second suspect bought the two mobile phones, as well as a sim card, while other information states that the first suspect handed over the mobile phones and the card to the third suspect.
As mentioned, from the analysis of the telecommunication data of the victim, it seems that Christodoulou had a communication with the number of the card that the suspects bought.
Also referring to the death ambush, the investigator said that the victim was trapped by a person he knew and trusted Christodoulou, whose friends were the fourth suspect arrested.

During the interrogation, the four suspects denied any involvement in the case, while it was reported that they presented an alibi at the time when the murder was committed.
