The mother of the 19-year-old British woman complains to the British embassy

19-year-old British woman, Famagusta District Court, gang rape, false complaint

The British mother blames the British embassy in Cyprus for the lack of support for her 19-year-old daughter, who is accused of falsely accusing her of gang rape by 12 Israelis.

Speaking to the BBC, the 19-year-old's mother complained to the British embassy that she had failed to support her daughter, who was living a "living nightmare".

Insisting on the claim that she was forced to sign a false statement by the Cypriot police, the mother of the 19-year-old stressed that her daughter's human rights were violated in the Cypriot prisons.

"You know that when something happens, you will be helped because you have a British passport, but that is not my experience," he told the BBC. However, the British Foreign Office stated that it continues to support the 19-year-old.

However, her mother noted that an embassy employee visited her daughter a few times, but at a higher level "saw nothing". "I understand it is a lawsuit, but my daughter's human rights are being violated from the beginning of the adventure," he said.

In fact, she expressed surprise at the fact that the European Union did not even deal with the violation of her daughter's rights.

It is recalled that on December 30, the Famagusta District Court will announce its verdict on whether the accused is guilty or innocent.
