The deal, signed in London, includes the opening of two renowned restaurants in the heart of the Ayia Napa Marina shopping area, giving good food lovers the opportunity to seduce their palate. With 32 Michelin stars for his restaurants, Joël Robuchon was the most distinguished chef in the history of the Michelin Guide. By emphasizing specific ingredients whose taste is crucial, he managed to revolutionize the "modern kitchen". At the age of 50 he retired from the kitchens and began to travel, thus gathering new experiences and influences, mainly from Asia. The time he spent in Japan obviously influenced his cooking style, especially the textures of his dishes. On his return to Europe he created a new restaurant concept, L'Atelier de Joël Robuchon, inspired by the sushi counter experience.
