On Monday, October 30, 2023 at 14:30 p.m. in the Holy Church of Panagia Agia Napa, the funeral of Kikis Konstantinou will be held according to an announcement by the local Municipality. The family of the deceased wishes that in lieu of wreaths, donations be made to charity.
In its announcement following the news of the death, the Municipality of Ayia Napa expressed its deep sadness at the death of Kikis Constantinos. As the announcement states, "the deceased contributed in various ways, with his pioneering ideas, to the tourism development of Ayia Napa and left his indelible mark on the culture of the city with his erudition, his love for the arts and letters. Always willing to offer himself and his valuable services voluntarily to the Municipality of Ayia Napa, he was a fellow traveler in the development of the Municipality, submitting ideas for the implementation of pioneering projects and cultural activities, such as the International Sculpture Park, the Cactus and Succulent Park, the planning of the Open Amphitheater and the establishment of the Ayia Napa International Festival.”
