A few hours are left from the start of the four-day events of the Flood Festival / Fish & 6th Water Festival in the Municipality of Ayia Napa, which will take place in the land area of the picturesque port of the city from 25-28 May 2018.
The Municipality of Ayia Napa took care to draw up a rich and festive program this year as well, which is expected to attract the interest of thousands of local and foreign visitors. Through this great Folk Festival, the goal of the Municipality is to promote and maintain the customs and traditions of our place.
In this year's program, the big concert that will be given on Sunday, May 27, by the popular folk singer Vassilis Karras and the concert of the young promising singers Nasos, Sassa Basta and Giannis Sofila on Saturday, May 26, stand out.
The program also includes the dance performance "Now that they set up the dance" by the Cultural Club "Emergence" of Paralimni (Saturday 26/05), Cypriot Dances by the Dance Club of the Municipality of Ayia Napa (Sunday 27/05), satire by the famous ladies of the Cypriot television "Popi and Angela", played by the well-known actors Kostakis Konstantinou and Andreas Argyridis (Sunday, May 27), island dances by the Dance Club of the Municipality of Ayia Napa (Monday, May 28), Cypriot Music by Dance Music and Dance THE Milos Ayia Napa "Kavo Greko" the Dance Club "Kimon" Xylotymbou, the Dance Club of the Municipality of Ayia Napa and the participation of Michalis and Dimitra Hadjimichael (Monday 28 May) 28/05).

On Monday, May 28, a Divine Liturgy will be celebrated in the church of Agios Georgios, where after the end, Priests and faithful will board fishing boats where the sanctification of the waters will take place off the port.
