As EDON Famagusta we condemn for the umpteenth time the vandalism suffered by the Regional Offices of EDON Famagusta, as well as the Deryneia Revival House, in the early hours of April 1st in Deryneia.
Today's vandalisms are added to the long list of vandalisms that our Offices have recently received, as well as public and private properties in the Municipality of Deryneia, with far-right symbols, slogans, and stickers.
As EDON of Famagusta we proceeded to denounce today's vandalism. We expect the State to assume its responsibilities, and to proceed with the actions required to eliminate similar incidents.
At the same time, we call on Society, especially today when nationalism is rearing its head, to stand by the side of Democracy, and isolate the fascism-chauvinism that the nationalists nurture.
A breath from our occupied city for 50 years, in the Darkness of Democracy and Resistance, we will not allow Fascists - neo-Nazis, to cultivate ideologies, which led in the recent past to the dismemberment of our Homeland.
We will fight to crush fascism-chauvinism.
We will fight to the end for Peace and the Reunification of our Homeland!
