A peaceful demonstration of more than 50 people took place today, symbolically closing the roadblock of Deryneia for about ten minutes around 18:30 tonight.
The mother of the hero Tassos Isaac also participates in the event.
The presence of members of the Police is also discreet, however the protest is taking place in a calm atmosphere.
Following the protest that took place on Friday, October 19, at the Deryneia roadblock, where hundreds of people expressed their reaction to the opening of the new roadblocks and the existence of the remaining roadblocks, the protests were closed by the intensify and will continue until the end of January, when the closure of a roadblock across Cyprus is scheduled every Sunday.
The roadblocks will be closed every Sunday from 6 pm and the program is as follows:
