The opening of the roadblock of Deryneia will show whether the Greek Cypriot side means what it says about its readiness for the solution of the Cyprus problem, stressed the mayor Andros Karagiannis.
Speaking on "Astra" radio, he said that there are few details left to complete the works on the roadblock and added that as the first of July approaches, a day when the Deryneia roadblock is scheduled to open, the reactions will intensify.
Speaking in a strong tone, Mr. Karagiannis said that they have assurances from President Anastasiadis himself that the roadblock will be opened despite any reactions.
