After a year of presence in the OPAP Men's A Division Championship, Olympias Frenarous returns from the new year to the B Division. The "red and blacks" were the losers of the playoffs after for the positions 7-8 they lost with a total score of 0-4 victories from Anagennisi Deryneia. In Friday's match, the "greens", despite the fact that they had difficulties, won at Frenaros with 1-3 sets and won the 7th place.
Olympias entered the match decisively and managed to take the first set with 25-18 in 28 minutes and to lead with 1-0 set.
The second set was ambiguous with the Deryneiotes enduring the pressure, winning 26-28 and tying the game at 1-1.
Anagennisi took the upper hand and turned the data upside down, after winning the set 20-25 and leading 1-2 sets.
The "greens" imposed their rhythm in the fourth set, they won 19-25 and the match with 1-3 sets.
