The Municipality of Deryneia in collaboration with the Renaissance of Deryneia presented the 2nd Lecture of the 5th round of Lectures "University for All" entitled "Football and Renaissance of Deryneia".
The main speaker at the lecture was George Stefanidis, Technical Advisor KOPE, who referred to the history of football in Deryneia that began in the 30s.
Special mention was made in the period 1987-1988 where Anagennisi played for the first time in its 67-year course, in the AIK category.
Greetings were addressed by the Mayor of Deryneia, the President of the Renaissance of Deryneia, the journalist Doros Nikolaou as well as veteran football players. They all praised the importance of sport, healthy employment, character cultivation, discipline and ethics.
Finally, the Municipality and Anagennisi Deryneia honored all the contributors to the team's promotion to the AIK category.
