"The Famagusta Chamber of Commerce and Industry appeals to its members, friends and fellow citizens to proceed with the necessary vaccinations against COVID-19. It seems that mass vaccination is the only option to deal with the pandemic and the economic catastrophe it leads to.
We call on our members to adhere to the protection measures in their businesses and in their daily lives, so that we can return to normalcy as soon as possible.
In particular, for our Free Province, which relies heavily on the tourism industry, it is important to achieve high vaccination rates, due to the fact that the number of inhabitants of our province is comparatively smaller. In this way, the health of our fellow citizens and the low transmissibility in the upcoming tourist season are primarily ensured.
