At around 2 pm yesterday, information was received by the Police about the discovery of a human body in the area of Sotiras.
The human body was found by a citizen in a rocky area in the area of Agia Thekla in Sotira.
Members of the Police arrived on the scene and took charge of the examinations.
From the preliminary examinations carried out, it was found that the body was in a state of decomposition, while it was not whole (from the waist down).
The body was collected and transferred to the mortuary of the Nicosia General Hospital, where the prescribed autopsy is expected at a time to be determined by the medical examiners.
