Two boats with migrants were spotted at noon southeast of Cabo Greco, in Ayia Napa.
Specifically, around 13:30 p.m., the Larnaca Police Department received information about two boats possibly with migrants in danger, which were sailing at a distance of 60 nautical miles southeast of Cabo Greco, within the area of responsibility of the Republic of Cyprus.
The KSED proceeded to implement the National Plan "NEARCHOS" by mobilizing aeronautical rescue means of the Republic, as well as ships sailing in the area.
