In the last 50 hours, the Police proceeded with the complaint of 24 citizens and four premises as part of the controls for the implementation of the measures against the spread of the coronavirus.
As a representative of the Press Office of the Police stated in KYPE, a total of 7.108 inspections were carried out throughout Cyprus.
In Nicosia, 1.091 inspections were carried out and there were 8 complaints from citizens. In Limassol, 2.981 checks were carried out and 15 citizens were reported. In Larnaca, 526 inspections were carried out and there was a complaint of a property.
In addition, in Paphos, 1.108 inspections were carried out and 3 complaints of premises and 10 complaints of citizens were made. In Famagusta 940 checks were carried out and there were 16 complaints of citizens, while in Morfou 454 checks were carried out and one citizen was reported.
There were also 8 checks by the Port Police without a complaint.
