Stolen jewelry was found on Wednesday (May 1, 2019) by members of the Police during a search of a house where 35-year-old and 19-year-olds live, who were arrested to facilitate the investigations.
Specifically, a 50-year-old woman reported on Tuesday, April 30, 2019 to the Police that two rings, a gold necklace and a necklace made of white gold and diamonds were stolen from her residence in the province of Famagusta.
As part of the investigation, members of the Police conducted a search on Wednesday at the residence where the 35-year-old and 19-year-old live and found in the wallet of the 19-year-old, among other jewelry, two necklaces, respectively made of gold and white gold with diamonds. A 50-year-old complainant acknowledged that her property had been stolen.
Arrest warrants were issued against the 35-year-old and the 19-year-old, according to which they were arrested shortly after 6.30 on Wednesday afternoon and were detained for the purpose of investigating the case.
