The 5.1 magnitude earthquake that shook Cyprus at around 16:27 today was particularly noticeable. The earthquake was felt in the province of Famagusta while its epicenter was in Larnaca.
The Famagusta.News contacted the Police and the Fire Brigade as well as the local authorities who have not reported so far -at least- any damage or destruction to property.
Moreover, as reported by the Spokesperson of the Fire Service, Andreas Kettis "The Cyprus Fire Service has not received any call so far regarding the earthquake. You will be notified of anything new. ”
