The Police proceeded to 88 complaints of citizens and three complaints related to premises after a total of 11.059 checks, in the last 24 hours for violation of the measures against the spread of the coronavirus.
In a statement, a spokesman for the Police Press Office said that in relation to the complaints, most concerned the movement of pedestrians or vehicles without sms or relevant form and others the non-use of a mask.
In Nicosia, 2055 inspections were carried out and 4 complaints were made against citizens, and one property, in Limassol, after 2444 inspections, 51 citizens were reported, in Larnaca, 2837 inspections were carried out with 13 complaints of citizens, in Famagusta 1195 inspections with 9 complaints of citizens, in Paphos 1682 inspections with complaints of 9 persons and 2 premises and in Morphou 606 checks with 2 complaints of citizens.
The Traffic Police carried out 243 inspections and the Port Police 27 inspections without any complaint.
