At around 2.20pm, yesterday, a boat about five meters long, carrying 15 irregular migrants, (all men including three unaccompanied minors) was spotted 16 nautical miles east of Cabo Greco.
The irregular migrants were received and transported safely by Akato Police to the Ayia Napa marina, where they were then transferred to the Temporary Accommodation Center in Pournara.
From the tests carried out, testimony emerged against a 20-year-old person (the driver of the boat), who was arrested to facilitate the investigations.
