Famagusta: Dimitris Giannis will swim 2km for children with autism

Dimitris is 28 years old and a very active young man who belongs to the autism spectrum. He is a swimmer at the special Olympics, a member of the Famagusta cycling team, he also dives with his dad, he walks about 10km every day.

An admittedly moving human movement is planned by Dimitris Giannis from the province of Famagusta on Sunday, November 1st, who will swim 2 km at Scout Beach in Kapparis to financially support the Smile program for children with autism in the province of Famagusta.

In fact, the President of Autism Support Famagusta, Chryso Prodromou, expressed her pride for the "wonderful young man", as she rightly described him, named Dimitris Giannis and who belongs to the Autism spectrum, while he is very active, athlete and works in Deryneia and will contribute in his own way for the "Smile" program.

Who is Dimitris Giannis?

Dimitris is 28 years old and a very active young man who belongs to the autism spectrum. He is a swimmer at the special Olympics, a member of the Famagusta cycling team, he also dives with his dad, he walks about 10km every day. He loves animals, but especially his dog. He works part-time at the kindergarten of Deryneia, last but not least, he is trained at the Aquademy Leisure Center in Frenaros by Harry Tziortzis (Aquademy).
