Dense fog continues to prevail from Tuesday night all over Cyprus and throughout the province of Famagusta with the Police recommending attention to drivers.

Today the weather will be mostly clear, with locally increased clouds at intervals. Early in the morning local light fog or fog and low clouds are expected in the eastern half of the island, which will gradually dissolve. The winds will blow westerly to northwesterly and locally to southwesterly, light to moderate, 3 to 4 beauforts and in windy areas to strong, 4 to 5 beauforts. The sea will be a little turbulent, but in the east and in the morning in the southeast, calm to a little turbulent. The temperature will rise to around 19 degrees inland, around 20 on the west and north coasts, around 21 on the rest of the coast and around 14 degrees in the higher mountains.
Tonight the weather will be mostly clear, with locally increased clouds at intervals, on the beaches. The winds will blow southwest to northwest and gradually west to northeast, weak, 3 beauforts, but initially in places to moderate, 3 to 4 beauforts. The sea will become calm to a little turbulent, but in the west and locally in the north it will remain a little turbulent.
The temperature will drop to around 7 degrees inland, around 9 on the coast and around 5 degrees in the higher mountains.
On Thursday, Friday and Saturday the weather will be mostly clear, however locally there will be increased clouds at intervals.
The temperature is not expected to change significantly, during the three days, to remain above the average climatic values.
