The Police carried out 1.605 inspections nationwide in the last 24 hours (from six yesterday morning to six this morning) as part of the intensified campaign for the implementation of the measures for the coronavirus, which has been in force since the first of August.
As it was said in KYPE by the Press Office of the Police, the majority of the controls concern the non-use of a mask on premises by staff and customers.
A total of 23 complaints were lodged for property and 57 against citizens.
The following checks were performed by province:
Nicosia 241 inspections, 3 complaints of premises and 24 citizens
Limassol 532 inspections, 6 complaints of premises and 16 citizens
Larnaca 255 inspections, 4 complaints of premises and 2 citizens
Paphos 165 inspections, 5 complaints of premises and 10 citizens
Famagusta 261 inspections, 5 complaints of premises, no citizens
Morfou 151 inspections, 0 complaints of premises, 5 citizens
