Arrest of a 30-year-old for illegal drug possession - 40 gr. hemp and 4 gr. cocaine
Members of YKAN (Famagusta Squad) carried out in the early morning hours today, based on a court order, a search of the home of a 30-year-old in the province of Famagusta, according to an announcement by the Police.
As police officers entered the house, the 30-year-old was seen throwing a bag out of the window, which was found to contain 40 grams of cannabis, 4 grams of cocaine and a precision scale.
Also found inside the house was a half-smoked handmade cigarette containing manufactured tobacco mixed with hemp and a plastic crusher containing green dry plant material believed to be cannabis.
During the interrogation, the 30-year-old allegedly admitted to committing the crimes.
