The Learning for all Training Center in Paralimni organizes an experiential workshop for children aged 4-12. The experiential workshop series is designed to teach social skills in a fun environment with many psycho-pedagogical activities (theatrical play, crafts, dance, song, painting, role-playing and relaxation) for all children.
In recent years, mental health professionals have emphasized that social skills can and should be taught. Many studies have shown that shy children can become more extroverted, children with aggressive behavior can learn self-control, and children who tend to seek leadership in groups can learn to make friends and feel equal to others.
There is no doubt that children with better social skills have a significant advantage in life. Not only do they enjoy the rewards of positive relationships with those around them, but they perform better in school, have a more positive self-image and are generally more resilient as they face the inevitable challenges of life.
Content of meetings:
1. I know the members of a group - I introduce myself
2. Verbal and non-verbal communication - I learn to communicate effectively
3. I follow the rules of the team / I collaborate
4. I recognize and express my feelings
5. Solve problems / Manage conflicts
6. Develop Empathy / Accept diversity - I am unique / or
The workshop will take place in a series of 6 meetings and costs 100 euros. (Special prices for siblings)
