Frenaros: 22-year-old set fire to his house after an argument

A house in Frenaros suffered extensive damage yesterday afternoon from a fire set by the 22-year-old son of the owner family after a quarrel he had with his father.

According to the Police and as Famagusta.News first reported, around six yesterday afternoon, information was received about a fire in a house in Frenaros owned by a 46-year-old.

Members of the Famagusta Fire Department rushed to the scene and managed to extinguish the fire, which caused extensive damage to the house.

Police investigations revealed that the fire was preceded by a quarrel and quarrel between a 46-year-old father and his 22-year-old son.

After the fight, the 22-year-old entered the house and for reasons unknown until now, set it on fire.

A father and son were transported by ambulance to the TAEP of the General Hospital of Famagusta, where the 46-year-old was fired after receiving first aid.

The 22-year-old was detained for treatment after suffering injuries due to the beatings he suffered during the fight he had with his father.

The young man was arrested with a court warrant and pleaded guilty to the self-inflicted crime of arson.

The case is being investigated by the Famagusta Police Department.
