A tour of the tourist area of Protaras was carried out on Friday, April 26, 2024 by the Deputy Minister of Tourism, Mr. Kostas Koumis, accompanied by the Mayor of Paralimni, Mr. Theodoros Pyrillis and the student of the XNUMXrd Lyceum of the Lyceum Kokkinochoria "Fotis Pittas" Panagiota Koutsou.
The tour took place within the framework of the prize of the student who won the Pan-Cypriot Essay Writing Competition entitled "What would I change if I were Minister / Deputy Minister for a day" organized by the Office of the Commissioner for Gender Equality in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, Sports and Youth . As part of her award, the student had the opportunity today to job shadow the Deputy Minister of Tourism, following

During the meeting, both in the coastal area of Protaras and in the Town Hall of Paralimni, the student Panagiota Koutsou had the opportunity, among other things, to present to the Deputy Minister of Tourism and to the Mayor of Paralimni the ideas she included in the award-winning essay for strengthening the tourist product of the free province of Famagusta.
