Specifically, according to an announcement, "on August 29, 2020 at 06:48 am, the Larnaca KSED received information that a small boat with 2 people was in danger in the sea area of ​​Famagusta, 3 NM northeast of Cape Greco.

The KSED immediately activated the National Special Search and Rescue Plan "NEARCHOS", sending to the area the speedboat "APOSTOLOS ANDREAS" of the Port and Maritime Police which towed the endangered boat to the fishing boat.
