A fire broke out in an illegal garbage dump in Liopetri around 3:00 this afternoon.
According to the images recorded by the camera of Famagusta.News, the fire broke out in useless materials which were in a garbage dump that operates illegally within the community of Liopetri. According to the first indications, it seems that unconscious or unconscious they caused a fire in useless materials, and greenhouse nylon which they had thrown in the garbage dump.
The Fire Department responded immediately with a vehicle from the Xylofagou Fire Station, whose members brought the fire under control and prevented it from spreading to neighboring villages, for fear of strong winds and prevailing temperatures.
