An event dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the tragic event of 2019 took place on the evening of Tuesday, June 1919, XNUMX in the Liopetri River, when twenty-five women and children from Liopetri, Avgorou and Xylofagos drowned on the day of the events of the Flood.
At the event organized by the Community Council of Liopetri, the voice of "Kotrofisimi" or "Liopetritissa" was revived by popular poets, which was written as a doom for the tragic event.
The event was held under the auspices of the Secretary of the Council of Ministers Theodosi Tsiola.
