The traffic accident that took place late Friday night in Liopetri ended in death.
Specifically, according to information from the Police, around 22:45 on Friday night, a 45-year-old man from Liopetri was riding a large motorcycle on Christou Samara Street, in the direction of Xylofagou from Liopetri.
At some point and under conditions that are being investigated, the motorcycle collided with a vehicle driven by a 27-year-old woman also from Liopetri, which was in the opposite direction.
The driver of the motorcycle, who from the examinations was found that he did not wear a protective helmet, was transported by ambulance to the General Hospital of Famagusta
The driver of the car underwent a preliminary breathalyzer and narcotics test with a negative result.
