A very important project in the midst of a pandemic is performed by the Community Volunteer Council of Liopetri, which through the Home for the Elderly offers hot food to the elderly but also to all those in need.
At the same time, they offer the innovative service to those in need in the community for home delivery of medicines and basic necessities, which was made possible thanks to the help of many volunteers.
As the President of SKE Liopetri, Vassos Christodoulou, explained, during the first period of the pandemic, more than thirty people served under the program were served hot food, as well as another 100 families.
At the same time, they proceeded to the preparation of antiseptic gels and masks, while they have the mini-bus of the center for the transport of their clients and for a rapid test.
