The Pancyprian Rally Championship 2020 starts with the East Safari Rally, a race that is expected to offer intense emotions this year as well. The race will take place on the weekend of February 15-16. The start will be on Saturday, at 14:30 in Agios Georgios Square in Paralimni, while the finish will be on Sunday at 14:15 in the same place.
The East Safari Rally is organized by the Famagusta Racing Car Association (FMSC).
It has a total distance of about 325 kilometers, asphalt and dirt road.
On Saturday the special routes are Paralimnitika, Agia Thekla and Ammunition, which will be repeated in the afternoon.
On Sunday the special routes are to Halospithkia, Fanos (shooting range) and Dasaki - Agia Varvara, which will be repeated after noon.
Maps with safe viewing points (where viewers can go to watch) were posted on the facebook page Famagusta Motor Sport Club. Brochures with the points of view, the list of entries and the sponsors of the race will be given at the start of the race, during which the athletes (driver and co-driver) will be presented.
The entries are expected to exceed thirty.
