Another boat with migrants in the sea area of Cabo Greco was noticed on Friday afternoon.
According to the information, the boat was spotted sailing by the Coastal and Maritime Police. A rescue operation was set up at the scene. Around 16 people from Syria appear to be on board the boat.
It is recalled that yesterday, members of the Port and Maritime Police, received in the afternoon, in the same area, a total of 45 illegal immigrants, who arrived in two boats, and transported them safely to the Ayia Napa marina. For this specific incident, two persons, 20 and 18 years old, who were driving the boats, were arrested.
