Specifically, on 25/02/2020 and between the hours of 09:00 and 14:00 in the Free Province of Famagusta, a coordinated operation was carried out by members of the Foreigners and Immigration Service of Famagusta, OPE Famagusta and the Inspection Service of the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs. undeclared and illegal employment.
During the operation, 8 third-country nationals, asylum seekers working illegally, were located and arrested in a hotel under renovation.
Further, the Ladder of the Ministry of Labor issued infringement notices for undeclared work for the amount of € 84.000.
