On Saturday, March 11, 2023, an excursion was held by the Women's Christian Association of the parish of Agios Georgios Paralimni.
The first stop was the Tomb of Makedonitissa, where a trisayo was held and flowers were laid on the graves of the Heroes of 1974.
Next stop, the Holy Church of All Saints where they had Abrahamic hospitality from the Head of the Church Prot. Konstantinos Vasiliou.
Then we visited the imprisoned graves where a trisago was held and wreaths were laid on the graves of the heroes of the EOKA Liberation Struggle 1955-59 where there was a guided tour by Mr. Stelios and a visit to the detention centers of the heroes.
The last stop was the Holy Monastery of Agios Herakleidis, where we had the opportunity to worship the Icon and the Holy Relics of the Saint.
At noon, lunch was offered at a local restaurant.
