Eleni Artymata continues to make Paralimni and the Famagusta District in general proud.
In accordance with trackfieldcy.com, Eleni set a new pan-Cypriot record in the 4x400 relay, where she took the 40m backstroke behind the Serbian athlete, but managed to close the gap.
Eleni Artymata's race forced the audience at Tsirio Stadium to get up from their seats and applaud her.
Thekla Alexandrou sat on the podium, giving the baton second to Kalliopi Kountouri, who gave her own battle by transferring the baton to Kalypso Stavrou. Stavrou remained in 2nd place, with Eleni Artymata covering the whole difference, and finishing first with the pan-Cypriot record 3.41.52
