The door of APOEL for the acquisition of Andreas Makris in the form of a loan was knocked by the Paralimni Youth Union. According to exclusive information from Goal.com.cy, the two sides are in contact for the 22-year-old striker whom Andre Pau eagerly desires.
The Dutch coach knows very well the abilities of the fastest striker from their joint tenure at Anorthosis and hopes that the golden section will be found between the two teams and that he will have the footballer under his guidance.
Makris did not follow the basic stage of APOEL's preparation since he is out of Bruno Balthazar's plans, but he has been training at "Archangelos" for two weeks now. APOEL does not intend to grant Makris a free transfer, while it recently rejected a proposal by PAS Giannina, demanding more money.
The Union is willing to cover about half of Makris' contract and it remains to be seen whether APOEL will give its consent for his transfer to the Paralimni team by paying the remaining amount.
