A tourist was found dead in a sea area of Protaras.
According to the information, around 4:10 on Sunday afternoon, a man was found sailing unconscious in the area of Pernera in Protaras.
The unfortunate man was transported by lifeguards of the Municipality of Paralimni to the mainland where he was given first aid without result.
An ambulance was called and he was taken to the General Hospital of Famagusta, where the doctors on duty confirmed his death.
The causes of death will be determined by the legal autopsy on his body, while according to the first information, his death may have come from pathological causes.
