Victory surprise for EN Paralimni against Keravnos

Paralimni Youth Union was the winner in the last match for 2017, prevailing in Avgorou tou Keravnou with 69-68, after an exciting game which took place in the context of the 11th match of the OPAP Basket League.

The "purple" entered the match very well and managed to be ahead 40-35 at halftime. Then Keravnos was better and made the upset, taking the lead in the score at 53-48 at the end of the third period. Before the end of the match, however, the hosts were focused and managed to take a new lead and in the end to take the victory with a final score of 69-68.

Keravnos played without Mo Abucar. This was the fifth victory for ENP in ten games, which reached 15 points. For Keravnos this was the second defeat this year, in nine games, which is now at 16 points. Top of the match were Zakis Papadopoulos with 14 points (4 three-pointers, 2 rebounds), Anthony Hickey (2 three-pointers, 6 rebounds, 4 assists) and Tivon Myers (1 three-pointer, 1 rebound, 3 assists).

With a three-pointer by Hickey and a two-pointer by Myers, ENP entered the game, taking a 5-0 lead. Lightning responded in the next minute and a half with five points (three by Parks, two by Barker), bringing the score in his favor to 57-35. Then we saw a more balanced game, where the score remained at small levels of difference. In 64 'the two teams were tied at 64-67. Myers then gave ENP a 64-68 lead with three points, for Keravnos to respond with four points from Barker and Parks and bring the score to 67-38 in his favor.
